Joe Haden has been in the NFL for a decade, playing cornerback and safety. So when he was traded to the Cleveland Browns this offseason after 10 years of being a Steeler, it felt like his career had reached its end. However, Joe is not ready to retire just yet with life-altering plans on hold including an upcoming rap album that will feature his favorite rapper Drake as well as members of Young Thug and Travis Scott’s labels.
The “joe haden stats” is a story about how the Steelers’ Joe Haden found his swag. He was drafted in 2010, and he has been playing ever since.
PITTSBURGH (KDKA) — It all begins with the footwear.
Joe Haden stands in front of his collection of over 1,000 pairs of Jordans every morning and picks the pair of the day with care.
Then he goes to his color-coordinated closet’s sweatsuit department and selects a pair that matches the sneakers.
Each and every day.
The Pittsburgh Steelers Pro Bowl cornerback is wearing the Guava Ice Union Jordan 4s on this warm November day, an off-white shoe with faded reddish pink and sky blue accents and a faint highlighter yellow sole. He wore the sneakers with a light red Jordan shorts and hoodie combination, which were just released a few months ago.
Haden said, “I knew it would work with the pink.” “I said, ‘Today, this will work.’ I get up every day, walk to the closet, and get dressed. I dress up as if I’m going someplace, even if it’s only to the facilities. ‘Joe, you don’t take any days off?’ the guys ask. I’m just like, “I just enjoy waking up, getting my things — you know I have a lot of clothing, so why not wear them?”

It’s not only about the clothing or the shoes though. Haden knows how to accessorize with antique buttons, matching socks, and hats. He’s been working on bespoke buckets with Jerry Adams of Hourglass Hats recently. He has three, including a baby blue faded felt hat with a frayed beige band and a brown-and-white feather that he wore to Green Bay with an oatmeal-colored suit and a white banded collar dress shirt.
Adams observed, “He can wear anything and make it look amazing.” “With him, the possibilities are unlimited. I can be as wacky as I want, and he’ll still kill it.”
In the offseason, Haden tries out various combos and photographs the ones he loves so he doesn’t forget his favorites. Furthermore, he has a dress code. He wears suits on the road and reserves his streetwear for home games.
The finer the costume, the larger the game.
For home games, Haden said he favors a club appearance. Pittsburgh Steelers’ Karl Roser
“It’s the way he finesses the business appearance, the shirt, the tie look,” tight end Eric Ebron said when asked what distinguishes Haden’s style. “It’s the business side of it.” Many individuals can put on street clothing and look a particular way, but when you can master style in both informal and work dress, you know you’ve got swag.”
Haden donned a Christian Dior sweatshirt, Dior bag, Amiri pants, and the limited edition Air Jordan 1 Dior when the Steelers visited the Seattle Seahawks for Sunday Night Football on Oct. 17.
Edmunds described his manner as “top of the line.” “He’s someone you strive to imitate, someone you want to bounce ideas off of in the locker room, like oh, you went and got this, I’m going to mix and match this one for me and put it together like that,” she says.
Haden was also a trend setter before to his professional career, introducing now-Panthers quarterback Cam Newton, his freshman year roommate at Florida, to some of the latest tendencies. Haden said he was the better-dressed of the two at the time.
With a giggle, Haden said, “I assure you Cam would tell you that, too.” “I believe I may have persuaded him to adopt his eccentric style.” He wasn’t dressed like that while he was at Florida.”
Haden’s attention to perfection in his appearance also goes to the field. He seldom wears the same cleats again, and his pads have an unique gold backplate. The back of the plate, which was inspired by one worn by former teammate Vince Williams, is etched in the shape of a dollar bill, with 23s in each corner and the Steelers’ emblem prominently in the centre.
Edmunds was also given a multicolored visor to replace his plain one.
Edmunds said, “He already had two or three in his locker, and he simply handed me one, and from there, I got my practice swag on point.” “In practice, Joe is constantly swaggering, coming to the aircraft and meeting us all the time.”
“That’s why he’s referred to as Joe Money.”
