The leak of a GeForce Now listing for God of War on PC may have revealed the existence of a PC port. The game is not confirmed, and it’s possible that this was just an error or placeholder.
The playstation now pc is a rumor that has been floating around for quite some time. A leak of the game’s PC port was just recently released, but it does not seem to be coming anytime soon.
A recent GeForce Now leak may have just revealed a slew of high-profile forthcoming games, including PC ports of PlayStation exclusives God of War and Ghost of Tsushima, as well as the long-rumored remastered versions of Rockstar’s earlier Grand Theft Auto games.
The GeForce Now leak also suggests a Helldivers sequel is on the way, as well as the release date for the next Bioshock game being scheduled for 2022.
Developer Ighor July revealed the news on Twitter, thanks to Pavel Djundik of Steam Database. The former claims to have “unlocked” Nvidia’s cloud gaming service, giving him access to over 18,000 games and applications.
According to this Medium post, the list contained applications such as Adobe Photoshop and Microsoft Office, which were presumably used internally, but what grabbed the developer’s attention was Mafia: Definitive Edition, which isn’t accessible on the service, as well as PlayStation exclusive God of War.
Djundik provided a filtered list of titles without Steam IDs that were discovered through the GeForce Now leak. There’s a listing for “Bioshock 2022,” which might be genuine, considering that developer Cloud Chamber said in 2019 that the next game in the series will “be in production for many years.”
GTA 3, GTA: Vice City, and GTA: San Andreas are all remastered, along with oddities like XCOM 3, Titanfall 3, Cities Skylines 2, and a “Batman Citybuilder.”
We’d advise treating the news with a grain of salt, as we do with all leaks. It’s not just dependent on fiddling with earlier versions of the GeForce Now client, as Ighor July acknowledged, but we also don’t know how quickly new games in development find their way to Nvidia to be included to its cloud gaming service.
Given Sony’s current attitude on PS4 exclusives, it wouldn’t be surprising if God of War and Ghost of Tsushima found their way to PC in the future. However, none of Sony’s recent PS4 exclusives have yet made their way to GeForce Now. The leak’s legitimacy is tainted by Batman Citybuilder and Titanfall 3, but only time will tell how true it is.
